Vegan Jordi Casamitjana said he is ‘really really satisfied’ after a judge ruled that ethical veganism is a philosophical belief.
It’s the first time Mr Casamitjana has been satisfied since he became a vegan.
He said he plans to celebrate with ‘a massive bowl of beans followed by a huge fart.’
The ruling came in a landmark legal hearing today in Norwich.
After the hearing Mr Casamitjana appeared outside the court surrounded by his legal team and an array of organic vegetables. In particular he thanked the carrots for helping him see through this dark period in his life.
Mr Casamitjana claims he was sacked by the League Against Cruel Sports because of his ethical veganism.
A spokesman denied the claim and said he was sacked ‘ not because he IS a vegan, but because he wouldn’t stop fucking going on about being a vegan.’
The judge ruled that ethical vegans should be entitled to legal protections.
He said that ‘might finally shut them up’ and asked why ‘they all seem to think we care what they eat anyway.’
