Following mass shootings in Texas and Ohio President Trump said on Monday “in one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy. These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hate has no place in America.”
He then went on to say “of course demeaning women in public like Hilary ‘lock her up’ Clinton is still a-ok. It’s a good old-fashioned American pastime, just like baseball, groping titties and mass shootings. Wait, scratch that last one”.
Trump has been criticised in the past for racist actions such as banning Muslims entering the USA, the border wall with Mexico, and telling four Democratic congresswomen to “go home” despite their being American citizens.
“No no no, that wasn’t a racist thing” Trump responded. “I was telling them to go home to the kitchen where women belong. Racism bad, sexism good. Especially against *those* women… what are their names? I always forget brown people’s names. What? That’s not racist. If it’s true it’s not racist”.
Trumps’ supporters were saddened by his new tolerant attitude. Randy Diggler from Alabama said “I will miss the racism and white supremacy, and my Confederate flag sure was pretty, but at least I can still abuse the women in my life and shout ‘dumb hoes’ at random ladies from my pick-up truck. It’s in the constitution… somewhere”.
The president criticised the internet and “gruesome” video games for promoting violence in society. “It is too easy today for troubled youth to surround themselves with a culture that celebrates violence,” he said. “We must stop or substantially reduce this and it has to begin immediately.”
To that end the Democrats have moved to ban all future Trump rallies.
