North Korea leader Kim Jong-un has received a personal letter from US President Donald Trump, state media report.
The president used the letter to express his deep-felt love for Kim and to ask the Korean leader around for a sleepover to ‘explore their relationship further.’
Mr Kim praised the letter as ‘excellent’ and said he would seriously contemplate the interesting content’, the KCNA news agency says.
Although sources close to Kim have said he would prefer the roles to be reversed if they play Porky and Dave again.
Earlier this month Mr Trump said a beautiful letter had been sent to him by the North Korean leader.
Kim’s letter was delivered to the White House by a pair of doves and was wrapped in a silk pride flag which now hangs in the Oval Office in place of the Star Spangled Banner. It included a picture of Kim posing in in a leather cap and hot pants.
It was not disclosed when or how Mr Trump’s letter to Mr Kim was delivered.
But it has been confirmed that it includes a QR code with a link to a home video of Trump. The content of the video is not known but reports suggest that those of Kim’s aides who viewed it were all sick, and that two of them said they will never be able to eat a Snickers bar or ride a bike again.
Talks between the US and North Korea stalled at a meeting in Vietnam between Mr Kim and Mr Trump in February.
They’ve shared messages and photos since then, but this is the most significant development in their relationship.
After receiving the letter Kim praised the president’s ‘extraordinary courage’,
but said he’ll be tweeting the QR code if Mr Trump continues trying to derail North Korea’s nuclear plans.
