The contest to become Prime Minister took a bizarre turn today as it was announced that it will include a swimwear and evening wear round.
With all three of the front runners raining verbal blows on each other throughout the week things are set to hot up in the race to Number 10.
Michael Gove took some personal jabs at Boris Johnson today calling his ideas ‘insane’ whilst claiming he was avoiding scrutiny.
However, he will definitely be scrutinised when he takes to the catwalk tomorrow in a glamourous display of manliness.
Whilst Michael Gove is expected to breeze through the evening wear round with a top hat and tails ensemble his decision to parade in a self-knitted bathing suit may cost him some valuable support. Firm favourite Boris Johnson is rumoured to be planning a smart but casual look for the evening and then lighten the mood with a fluorescent pink mankini.
We will have to wait until Thursday for the first round of voting. Currently Boris is the bookies favourite with odds of 4/7, Michael Gove is 16/1 and Mark Harper at 200/1
but In a bid to garner votes Jeremy Hunt claimed that he ‘liked long walks in the countryside’, ’helping people’ and ‘puppies’ which saw his odds rocket to 9/2.
