A video has been published online capturing the moment a Blackburn man poured a milkshake over right-wing extremist and former English Defence League (EDL) leader, Tommy Robinson. The incident marked the second time in as many days Tommy has been milked.
(Though not in the traditional sense – although I am sure many would pay good money to see him hooked up to a milking machine, watch him be pumped dry and left a shrivelled husk!)
As a result of the incident retailers and dairy farmers are celebrating a 749% per cent increase in sales of milkshakes as more and more people hope to join this new trend as Robinson (real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon), continues his campaign to be elected to the European Parliament as an MEP for the north west.
In this latest soaking, Danyal Mahmud – a hero for the ages – says he was approached by Tommy as he made his way home. The video shows Robinson berating Mr Mahmud before the milkshake flies, closely followed by punches from Robinson and his Neanderthal disciples.
(Apologies to any Neanderthals for the negative association).
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “We are aware of an allegation of assault made following an incident in Bridge Street in Warrington. We are looking into the circumstances”
adding “However, it could simply be a case of Tommy’s milkshake bringing all the boys to the yard because covering him in thrown milk is better than pours.”
A spokesperson for Robinson denied assaulting Mr Mahmud saying: “We thought at first the milkshake had skimmed past him as it flashed past our eyes. When we saw him covered in milk we leapt to defend Tommy because six to one is the fairest way of administering a full fat beat down.”
