Tommy Robinson has been pictured after being released from jail following his sentence for contempt of court.
A video posted online showed the English Defence League (EDL) founder smiling, with longer hair and a beard. Robinson said: “First stop – hairdressers.”
“…It’d be a nightmare trying to flush a salted caramel and butterscotch delight triple thick shake out of this mop.”
The former English Defence League leader, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was hit by milkshakes twice in two days while on the campaign trail in the north of England.
Farmers’ spokesperson, Roy Buttercup, commented: “They were halcyon days, they were. I don’t condone violence and particularly not the wasting of good food, but when Tommy was out and about pounding the streets looking for stray votes dairy sales went through the roof.”
“Folk no longer carried a coffee cup to look cool, they sported a fancy shake.
“All the far-righters supported us British dairy farmers by taking a hit from a shake, patriots one-and-all.”
“Then it went. Tommy got banged-up and Nigel defected to Brussels to bite the hand that feeds him.
“But now Tommy’s back, and before long – Nigel. Things are looking up for us dairy farmers again.”
“Roll on the general election. For the voting, of course.”
