Donald Trump has rowed back on his remarks that the NHS should form part of a future trade deal between the UK and US but everything else is still on the table…
…which includes the Royal Family.
4% of the 50 people in line for the throne are American citizens…
…and Donald Trump has put in an offer to purchase the remaining 96%. The deal would see Buckingham Place replaced by a UK Trump Tower with the old building being taken apart brick by brick and rebuilt as a garden house for his Seven Springs mansion in New York.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who spoke at a protest rally against President Trump moments before the president’s press conference, tweeted: “Our NHS is not up for sale”.
But has no problems with selling the Royal Family. “When I become Prime Minister in a few weeks time,” he said, “I’ll throw in the House of Lords as well.”
Prince Charles is the next in line to the the throne.
But under Trump ownership, the next King or Queen would be decided by a royal version of the Apprentice where, over twelve weeks, the eighteen in line for the throne are set tasks by Donald Trump to determine who gets to be the new sovereign. Tasks will include gruelling royal chores such as opening a new Trump building, staying awake through a Royal Variety show and explaining to the Duke of Edinburgh why something he said is racist.
