Samsung has apologised after it accidentally sent a message to thousands of devices overnight.
A spokesman for the company said it was due to a senior executive butt texting as he hurriedly removed his trousers during a ‘private moment’ in the boardroom.
The texts were sent out in the early hours of Thursday morning,
and followed a staff night out with a free bar and to which partners were strictly not invited.
Some customers worried their device had been hacked.
But the company assured users that there is ‘nothing to worry about’ and that no action was required. Although they did suggest that Dave from Bridgend, whose wife probably got home a bit last night, drunk and having lost one shoe and her bra, should delete any voicemails received ‘since about midnight.’
Samsung said the message was the result of an internal test.
And that the executive concerned was in ‘a very good mood this morning’ and seemed confident he’d passed with flying colours.
