The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have broken royal protocol by taking to social media to share the news of the birth of their first child but one question is on everybody’s lips. “Is it ginger?”
It was widely reported that Prince Harry wanted a home birth but, as with all young couples the man had no say in the matter and the 11th in line to the throne was born at The Portland in Central London.
As the public wait for the first pictures to be released. Bookmakers have been taking odds as to what the Royal couple will name the baby with Arthur at 5-1 and Philip at 6-1 but the young couple are known for breaking convention.
A Royal Insider told us that The Royals have always looked to popular culture to name their children with Harry named after Harry Styles from 1Direction and William named after Ethel Skinners dog from Eastenders. Obviously, Game Of Thrones is in the Zeitgeist so names like Jon, Joffrey and Sandor are very likely and Meghan is very into her music so a Prince Shawn, Prince Calvin or Prince Marshmello are also possibilities.
The newest member of The Royal Family was born at 5:26am on Monday. The Duchess of Sussex was a week overdue.
Apparently the baby wanted to remain whilst Meghan was keen for it to leave.
