McDonald's asked not to sell milkshakes during Farage rally. Pelt him with something healthy and sustainable - like our new McRottenEggs

A McDonald’s near a rally addressed by Nigel Farage in Edinburgh was asked by police not to sell milkshakes or ice cream, staff have said.

Anticipating future bans, McDonalds today announced the launch of its new eco-friendly range.

“McDonalds are proud to announce the launch of our new environmentally-friendly and sustainable products that are ideal for making political points. All of our products come with minimal packaging and a zero carbon footprint.” said a spokesman earlier today.

Earlier this month a video of English Defence League founder Tommy Robison being struck by milkshake during a visit to Warrington, Cheshire, was widely shared online.

“Our aim for our new range was to be totally organic and sustainable: McSlurry, McSheepdip and McRottenEggs are sourced from local farms; McManure from livery yards and riding schools. All of our products contain no artificial preservatives, have no added salt and are particularly effective at close range.”

“We would urge our customers to dispose of any waste responsibly as technically it could become evidence.”
