The giggling Duchess of Cambridge recaptures her tomboy childhood as she plays on a rope swing slung from a tree – in the garden she’s designed for the Chelsea Flower Show.
Not quite what hugely disappointed Republicans were expecting when the Mail on Sunday click-baited them with the promise of a picture of a member of the royal family swinging from a rope. Many are now fretting as to what conditions they’ve agreed to after eagerly clicking the ‘I agree’ button to see the image.
The delightful picture was taken by a palace aide last week as Kate took a playful break from putting finishing touches to the garden before the world-famous show opens on Tuesday.
The picture has sparked off cries on Twitter for the editor of the Mail on Sunday to be sacked. “I don’t understand how this picture is any different to the one I tweeted,” said Danny Baker.
Her plot’s Back To Nature theme is intended to rekindle the magic of childhood, and underlines the work Kate has been doing to promote the benefits of being outdoors for physical and mental health.
However, an article exclusive to this week’s Mail on Sunday reveals that there is a direct link between the outdoors and the symptoms of cancer, rheumatism and global warming. All of these problems can be resolved by simply purchasing a copper bracelet available at a special price on page 53.
The mother-of-three wanted her garden to be a playground for children to enjoy, as well as a relaxing space for grown-ups.
Which is why, as nanny and kids play at the bottom of her garden, she’s sipping a cocktail over three miles away at the top.
