Channel 4 News host Jon Snow has been cleared by Ofcom following complaints remarks he made about a pro-Brexit rally in March.
During the televised rally, Snow made remarks about the pro-white event, that was attended predominantly by white people, and was for tedious white people reasons.
White people, of course, were not happy.
Snow drew complaints after stating he had “never seen so many white people in one place.”
Ofcom cleared the presenter, stating that the program was live, and the crowd in the footage was predominantly white.
“This may have been a true experience for Mr Snow, that he had never seen so many white people in one place,” the media watchdog announced.
“He may have been lying if he’d ever attended a Trump Rally or a Coldplay concert, but we don’t know that at this time.”
Ofcom warned broadcasters that “particular care” is needed when making statements that could be mistaken as “highly inflammatory and provocative.”
Snow was also cleared for his remarks that Farage was a “Beano drawing of a racist full of boiled f*cking piss”, before adding “I hope he gets stuck in a purgatory full of hot, hot, shit.”
He then roundhouse kicked a cardboard cutout of the Pro-Brexit politician.
Ofcom announced this was not a breach of their guidelines. “At the moment we are unable to dispute Snow’s comments as false.”
