Farage accuses BBC of lack of coverage, in preparation for 35th Appearance on Question Time

Nigel Farage has accused the BBC of not giving him enough coverage

“Where is the dedicated BBC unit following me around the country waiting on my every word?”, frothed the Brexit Party Leader, whilst appearing on The Andrew Marr Show between appearances 34 and 35 of ‘Question Time’ ”

His anger was prompted by a line of questioning from Andrew Marr, concerning the  NHS, Global Warming, Gun Control and HIV sufferers coming to the UK

“How dare an interviewer ask a leader of the currently most popular party in the UK, questions on anything other Brexit. I didn’t campaign for 25 years to answer questions on Foreign Policy, Education, Healthcare, Pensions, Welfare, Housing, Defence”

Fiona Bruce, who is the presenter of BBC’s ‘Question Time’

Responded by saying, “Nigel has more ‘Question Time’ appearances than me! He even has his own mobile dressing room and contract rider. Did you know that he insists on a bowl of M&Ms, but with only the red, white and blue ones? Someone once left a French Golden Delicious in his fruit bowl. That’s a mistake only made once.”

Nigel Farage is quoted as not wanting to be Prime Minister

“God forbid, should I have to do a job with any accountability”, laughed Nigel, “As leader of the, currently,  most popular party in the UK, should we win a general election,  I will stand aside and let those more qualified  to get on with it. Just like when we won the referendum in 2015. I will then be free to shout my critique on, not only on ‘Question Time, but Channel 4 News, ITN News at 10, Newsnight,  5 News and Sky News. Oh! Not forgetting my weekday LBC radio show, broadcast from my five star apartment in Brussels.

The BBC Director general is Tony Hall

“We are disappointed by Nigel’s reaction. He is such great Box Office”, he said in an issued statement, “We at the BBC are thankful that Mt Farage turns up at a drop of Vince Cable’s Hat. Quite frankly, without Mr Farage, we would have problems completing our scheduling commitments. There are only so many old episodes of QI you can show, before the license paying public twigs.”
