Brexit celebration confusion as revellers asked to meet outside the Westminster Bell end

Popular Right Now, UK Politics

Debate rages on as to whether Big Ben should chime at 11 pm on 31st January to celebrate the UK leaving the EU

However further confusion has been thrown into the mix as the location has been casually described as happening outside near Parliament Square at the Westminster Bell End

Big Ben is currently undergoing maintenance and has been ‘switched off’ since Autumn 2017

“Which Westminster Bellend are they talking about”, whinged Brexit supporter and victim of being dropped on his head as a child, Collin Collinson (54) of Barton Stacy, “There are so many to choose from. From all sides. I mean is it Corbyn’s allotment, Johnson’s flat, Rees-Mogg’s estate?”

It is estimated to cost £500,000, to reactivate the bell for 31st January

“The smart money is outside Dominic Raab’s karate class”, informed keen Leave voter and bovine injury victim,  Miriam Narrow (54), “Although the Essex Association of  Rhinectomy, are convinced it’s outside Mark Francois’ house”

Several crowdfunding initiatives have been set up to pay for the cost of Big Ben being rung

“Westminster Bell End only means one thing to me”, dictated UKIP supporter and chairman of the Self Nasal Removal and Face Chastisement Group of Fisheries, Colin Blinkered (54) “So I’ll be whooping it up outside the LBC Studios where St Nigel Farage of Thanet broadcasts his thoughtful political insights every night”. Mr. Blinkered then collapsed into a self-tormented rage as The Newsdump pointed out Mr F has failed to become an MP on seven occasions.

Big Ben maintenance is due to be completed in 2021

“Personally I think Westminster Bellend is a metaphorical and existential term”, mused Brexit Party supporter and South-West regional Wall Head-butting Champion, Sam McClements(54),”I don’t see it as either a present or gender-related term, so I will be celebrating our freedom by following the glorious Ann Widdecombe on her protest tour of Kentish Marie Stopes clinics and Marie Stopes Clinics of Kent. WE VOTED TO LEAVE YOU KNOW!”
